The idea submitted by Alexander From E to H demonstrates something that I have yet to do in my posted ideas: actually get in depth about characters, plot, relationships and resolutions. I feel my ideas up until this point have been rather shallow. Pure concepts I guess. The question is what do you think is more effective in this stage of the film making process? In depth details or pure concept?

I like pure concept at this point. In depth is nice, but I feel you need more than a text box to properly display in depth details.

I am no director / writer by any means, but I do enjoy thinking of neat ideas (maybe this is the fun part, its not until you actually follow through when things get tough) so I seem to think of concept first, story second.

Concept can take you only so far, it's all about story---besides, why not promote more in depth detail from your pitches. Isn't that what the Tag line/Synopsis is all about? A concept/idea/pitch? You got to back it up at some point.....right?

it would be nice to be able to upload PDFs for more developed ideas... to develop characters, and plots...
